Selling on eBay and Amazon – the sold list goes on!

We are selling so many things the kids think they’re next (I’m sorry, I know, I’m always quoting Dave Ramsey but he just gets in my head) and this weekend was a selling extravaganza. We listed more than 50 items on eBay and Amazon. We are focusing on those two and only put a few items on Half.com, since it seems like Amazon was enjoying almost instant success with some items.
A couple things I’ve learned so far: don’t put a DVD TV-series box set on eBay, it will sit there with few views. Put DVDs on Amazon, people go there regularly to buy. They may be thinking of buying new, but find that used is not a half-bad idea. What I also am liking about Amazon vs. eBay is how easy it is to list stuff. Pretty much everything is already in their catalog, and it’s super simple to add your item in to the list.
